This funding is to form a community-driven research network to enhance access to culture. Funded networks will create partnerships across communities, researchers, and policymakers, to promote urban cultural renewal. The full economic cost (FEC) of network can be up to £100,000 and AHRC will fund 80% of the FEC. Networks must start by 1 April 2026, and will be funded for 12 months

This opportunity support researchers without prior experience of leading a significant research project to accelerate their trajectory as independent researchers, unlocking their potential and building leadership and convenor experience through the delivery of ambitious or complex projects. Award range:£100,000 - £300,000.  AHRC will fund 80% of this. Funding is available for projects up to five years in duration.

AHRC Responsive Mode: Curiosity Award

This opportunity support fundamental research that leads to new research agendas, networking activity and idea generation, which enables the development of further research opportunities and new research agendas. wards are available for projects up to £100,000 full economic cost (FEC) and Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) will fund 80% of this. Funding is available for projects up to five years in duration.

AHRC responsive mode: standard research grant

Projects should aim to enable researchers to establish or enhance effective working relationships with fellow researchers (both within and beyond the arts and humanities, and within and beyond the UK). In addition, this grant seeks to provide opportunities for less experienced researchers to develop their expertise by working collaboratively with senior researchers on well-defined projects and by leading projects themselves. The FEC of your project can be between £300,000 and £1.5 million. AHRC will fund 80% of the FEC.

This opportunity allows UK and US based researchers to submit a collaborative proposal within the remit of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and US National Science Foundation, Social, Behavioural and Economic Sciences Directorate (NSF-SBE). Funding is available from £300,000  to £1,500,000.

This funding opportunity funds work with researchers in Luxembourg. Collaborative work is governed by an agreement between UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR). Funding is available from £300,000 to  £1,500,000. AHRC will fund 80% the FEC.
